Within the strictures of a club’s/country’s uniform kit, footballers have to get inventive if they want to express their personality out on the pitch.
Some would argue that gone are the years when the likes of Paul Gascgoine would bleach their hair to stand out from the crowd, with tattoos rather than haircuts seemingly the modern way for footballers to express themselves.
Despite that, a number of Ghanaian players still managed to turn a few heads during the campaign with their choice of hairstyles. Whilst none reached Taribo West levels, a few deserve revisiting now the season is coming to a close.
